Concepts of history, memory, anthropology and ethnography run throughout Ian Weaver’s work. Weaver describes himself as a visual artist with a “studio as laboratory” approach. His interests lie in how we—as individuals and communities—construct our own identities and memories through the lens of our commemorations and the objects we construct and archive.

This event is part of the Visiting Artist Program

We would like to thank our students for making this program possible with funding from Art and Art History Student Activities Fees.
